Child Safety Standards

Throbr is for adults only. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion and trafficking. These standards apply to everything on Throbr: profiles, photos, chats, voice notes, video calls and random video chat.

1. Adults only

• Everyone must be 18 or older. We ask for a date of birth at sign-up and do not let anyone under 18 create a profile.
• Accounts we believe belong to someone under 18 are removed. Anyone can report a suspected minor from the profile, chat, call or stream (reason "Under 18"); these reports go to the top of our review queue.

2. What is prohibited

• Any sexual or sexualised content involving a minor, real or generated, and any request for it.
• Contacting, grooming or attempting to meet a minor, and sextortion of anyone.
• Sharing links to, or trading, such material anywhere on or off Throbr.

3. How we prevent and detect it

• In-app report and block on every profile, chat, call and random call.
• Automated safety checks on profile photos (explicit photos are refused and removed) and on live and video calls, with streams ended automatically when they fail.
• A moderation team reviews reports every day; "Under 18" and sexual-content reports are handled first.

4. What we do when we find it

• Remove the content and permanently ban the accounts involved.
• Preserve the evidence and report child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and Indian law enforcement through the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in), as required by law.
• Cooperate with law enforcement requests made under applicable law.

5. How to report

• In the app: use Report on the profile, message or call, and choose "Under 18".
• By email: support@throbr.in — write "Child safety" in the subject. We act on these reports as a priority.
• If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police (112 in India) first.
